Refund, Returns & Exchange Policy

At Ambella, we specialise in premium sanitaryware, artisanal wash basins, and luxury stone/wood furniture. Because of the heavy, fragile nature, and high-end craftsmanship of our products, our return and exchange guidelines are strictly structured to ensure structural integrity and transport safety.

1. Change of Mind Returns

We offer a 7-day change of mind return window from the date of delivery. To be eligible, the item must be completely uninstalled, unused, and packed meticulously in its original crate/packaging.

Because our items (like stone basins and console tables) require specialised logistics, all change of mind returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. The customer is solely responsible for arranging and paying for insured return freight. If an item is damaged on its way back to our warehouse, the return will be rejected.

  • Once the replacement/exchange is approved, the product will be shipped in 1–3 business days and delivered within 7–10 business days.
  • In case of an approved return/cancelled item, the refund amount will be credited to the original payment mode within 7–10 business days.

2. Damages and Transit Issues

We take immense care in crating and shipping fragile items. However, structural damage can occasionally occur during transit.

  • Inspection Window: You must inspect all wash basins, tabletops, and furniture pieces and report any cracks, chips, or structural defects within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Process: Please email us with high-resolution photographs of both the damaged product and the exterior packaging/crating.
  • Remedy: Once verified, we will arrange a priority replacement at agreed transportation charges, or arrange for a full refund if a replacement is out of stock.

Reports made after 48 hours will be deemed post-delivery damage and will not be covered.

3. Non-Returnable and Custom Items

We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for:

  • Products that have already been installed, plumbed, modified, or altered in any way
  • Custom-sized console tables, bespoke stone-carving orders, or special custom-finish orders
  • Items purchased from warehouse clearance or "As-Is" showroom sales

4. Colour and Material Variations

Many of our wash basins and console tables utilise natural marble, stone, or solid timber. Variations in veining, grain patterns, natural pitting, and colour tones are inherent characteristics of natural materials and are not considered manufacturing defects. Returns based on these natural variations will be treated as "Change of Mind" returns.

5. Refund Processing Time

Once your returned item is received at our warehouse and passes our quality inspection for structural integrity, your refund will be processed. Approved refund amounts will be credited within 5–10 days to the original payment method.
